Plates of Regia Aeronautica had the same history of those of Regio Esercito, but actually I don't know that much about them, starting from their numbering system.
The first two pictures on the left were mounted on the Isotta Fraschini of Gabriele d'Annunzio and they are respectively the front and the rear plate. The third picture shows, even if not clearly, a plate in which the last digits seems to be a "r" and this means that it was used on a trailer (rimorchio).

The first two pictures were taken in the train station of Rome, Termini, where the car was exposed, while I need to thank Ernesto Vitetti for the last photograph.
